“You can tell when you’re on the right track, because it’s usually uphill.”
The physical asanas of yoga teach us to practice at our edge – no easier and no deeper. At our edge we find a space where we are eager to push forward, but simultaneously aware enough to know when to back off. Life presents us with a similar set of challenges. IF we stay complacent for too long (whether in our career, personal life, or otherwise), we stop growing. We forget to look for the beautiful things life has to offer in the future, and we no longer strive to attain those magical moments. Instead, yoga encourages us to accept life’s challenges as building blocks. Afterall, one must conquer a grueling hike before being privy to the picturesque sunset that awaits at the top of a tall mountain.
